The League of Women Voters Pennsylvania’s “New Voters Video Contest” is designed to educate and engage new voters in America’s election process. Women Veterans ROCK! congratulates all Young Millennial Voters who are embracing their civil right to VOTE. We sincerely appreciate Young Millennial Voters for getting engaged in the process of voter education and voter registration. THE LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF PA
CONGRATULATES WINNERS OF 2nd ANNUAL HIGH SCHOOL VIDEO CONTEST
HARRISBURG (April 4, 2016) — The League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania is proud to announce the winners of the second annual League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania High School Video Contest. The winners were standout submissions, selected by a panel of eight judges from across the state with political and media expertise.
Students from more than thirty schools submitted more than one hundred thirty-second videos on the theme “Your Voice, Your Vote – Be Heard!” Judges evaluated the videos on how well the video communicated that theme, how likely the video was to encourage active participation in voting, and how effectively the creators used the tools available to further the message.
First place winners will share a $1000 prize. The Second place prize is $500, and the third place winner will receive $250.
